The Acer Mini-Note -- Aspire One

Well, after the HP 2133 Mini-Note announcement, everyone is looking for information of ACER mini-note. Someone in Mobile01, the Taiwanese geek forum, has leaked informations for this product.

According to his informations in that page, Acer's Mini-Note is called "Aspire One", running Windows XP SP3 on the 8.9 screen with resolution of 1024 X 768 600 and Atheros 802.11b/g. There is one slot of SD/MMC/MS/xD on the right side and one SD slot on the left side, in addition, 2 USB ports on the right and one on the left.

The ODM partner is Quanta, the main notebook ODM partner of HP, DELL and Apple. The source thinks "Aspire One" is better looking than Asus' EEE PC, however, no photo release yet. Click for photos. The photo release looks like that Acer will ship another edition with Linplus.
